Yesterday’s beautiful bride with her many tattoos reminded me to blog about this fashion bikini shoot we did with celebrity Sini Ariell from Finland. These photos were shown in several European tattoo publications and lifestyle newspaper features.
Sini is a pinup model and tattoo artist and she intends to have her body fully covered in tats within a few years. It would be impossible to tell the stories of all of her tattoos which are mostly cartoons, lettering, new school and colour, but I love her Leopard dots on her head that she says represent her spirit.
I’m a little obsessed with tattoos at the moment. The desire to get one is growing. Surely it can’t be more painful than childbirth but just the needles that scare me more than the pain. I could go with a traditional bamboo tattoo but I’ve heard that actually hurts more and takes longer. I’ll be sure to let you all know when I get one!
Thank you so much to The Village, Coconut Island for letting us use the beautiful resort for the location of the bikini photo shoot. And some news – the island now has power and so the resort doesn’t have to rely on generators any more. They had a party to celebrate this huge milestone and it was really great to go there and relax, party and chill out on the beach for the evening.
