Emily & Tim are a fun-loving couple from Australia and they were married at Katathani Resort & Spa in Phuket on the lawn overlooking the ocean. It was a perfect day for them and I was so happy to be there to photograph their special day.

They had some very special flower girls in the bridal party who couldn’t wait to get the wedding ceremony started. The youngest one did get a little overwhelmed as the moment for Emily to walk down the aisle with her father arrived. There were many tears from the adults too as Emily was completely stunning. And we all knew it that the bride herself was a crier so tissues were on hand for her. Smiling, crying, smiling, laughing, loving all of the moments of the ceremony – beautiful photos!

Wish you all the best for your lovely life together as newly-weds ~ wedding planning by The Romance Planners, photography by Gina.

Pre-wedding in Phuket for Crystal & Bryan

Crystal & Bryan took advantage of Phuket’s beautiful beaches and lovely sunny weather to have a half day pre-wedding photo shoot during a weekend getaway from Hong Kong.

Crystal brought a range of dresses perfect for the beach for the bridal photo shoot. There are dress hire studios here in Phuket but not a huge choice in styles and so I recommend you bring your own to be sure. The same for suits. You can have a nice suit made quite quickly but the studios that hire don’t seem very modern (or maybe it’s just Thai fashion). Bryan also packed his favourite outfits. It’s also better because you’ll feel more comfortable and relaxed and it will show in the photos.

Our lovely couple are busy preparing for their wedding day and now have beautiful photos to display when they get married very soon. We wish them congratulations and hope to see them back in Phuket in the near future ~ photography by Jaran.

Today on the blog I want to share the wedding day of a very special couple who had a wedding at The Village, Coconut Island off Phuket that was very meaningful and touching.

Sarsha and Reid eloped, just the two of them, on a deserted tropical island in Thailand. They couldn’t decide between a Western ceremony or a Thai traditional Buddhist ceremony so they did both. The monks from a nearby temple arrived at the pier early in the morning and gave blessing to Sarsha and Reid. Sarsha was stunning in a bright red gown.

Later they were pronounced man and wife during a beach ceremony conducted by Bernie who is a celebrant and also the resort manager. They told me the day was perfect and just as they dreamed it would be, but better!

And the day was captured by the super-talented Jimmy ~ photography by Jimmy.
