Sina & Saina were married at The Surin and had a wedding day that was cultural, spontaneous and emotional. Actually I had tears in my eyes during their ceremony and that is saying something because it does take a lot for that to happen when you are shooting weddings every week. It was Saina. The words he spoke to his bride were so heart-felt. This was their moment and it was like time stood still when they exchanged their wedding vows.

Even though it rained and it poured right before the ceremony the guests just took shelter and began the party. Eventually the skies cleared and the wedding ceremony went on at the beach. Everyone was dancing all day and all night. The boys were dancing on the lawn before the ceremony, the bridal party were dancing after they walked down the aisle, everyone was dancing when the couple made their grand entrance to dinner. I think the staff were a bit taken aback and wondering what was going on. Later there were traditional Samoan dances and a haka. It was awesome and it really was one of the nicest weddings for 2013.

The wedding was organised by Wedding Destinations in Australia who always do a fab job ~ photography by Gina.
