It was a beautiful JW Marriott ceremony for Iris and Cristian with their loved ones who had travelled so far to join the beautiful celebration.
The tropical 5-star resort is a popular Phuket wedding venue. The couple stayed there for a holiday before and fell totally in love with the place. A JW Marriott wedding is always beautiful and this one truly was too.
The bride was walked down the aisle by her emotional father and the Marriott ceremony was conducted by celebrant Tim Campbell. Let’s break for a funny story. There coincidently are 2 celebrants in Phuket with the same name of Tim Campbell. As most of you know one is my husband. And the other one I’ve met several times and he contacted me a few years back for work and that was when we realized they had the same name and the same job on the same island – what are the chances? Luckily they are both excellent wedding celebrants who do really lovely, modern ceremonies and now we are all friends. There have been a few mix ups of resorts booking both of them on the same day. I suggested Tim take my name of Smith but he wasn’t keen. Don’t blame him at all…most boring surname of all time isn’t it. Anyway back to the wedding.
A professional sax player entertained the wedding guests before, during and after the wedding and we got one really amazing sunset photo of the couple and the sax player. Scroll down to see it – love this photo. And they decorated the swing with greenery and went for a fresh ceremony style with heaps of lush greenery and white orchids. It was really stunning with elegant tropical vibes.
During the reception speeches, dancing, fun photo booth and cake cutting were enjoyed over a beautiful meal by the lotus pond. At the end of the night the wedding couple launched two pretty Loy Kratongs into the water for good luck.
A truly lovely Marriott wedding day that was executed beautifully by the wonderful JW Marriott team ~ photography & videography by Jaran and team, hair and make-up by Lisa Allen.
