Fee gave me a heads up that I might not have much time with her kids since their attention span during taking photos wasn’t normally long. I think it’s true with all kids. One secret to taking great family portraits is to keep them moving to new locations every 10 – 15 minutes so they don’t get bored and forget the camera is there even as they head to the next adventure of exploring the resort.

In just an hour we had a lovely collection of photos in one of the Laguna resorts in Phuket, of the children individually and together, some of just the parents (I always make time for this while shooting families because I know your time to get a nice photo with your partner once you have kids is around a zero) and some portraits and some candids with the boys jumping in the pool at the end ~ photography by Gina.
