Since I’ve had kids I’ve began to enjoy family shoots more and more. I guess I just can relate to the clients differently now both with the parents and with the kids. The time is fun and spontaneous and you really can’t plan things out too much especially if the kids are very little. So you can just sort of let the shoot unfold and wait for some beautiful smiles and cute moments.
Here is a shoot with an American family. Beth, Stephan and little Jacob were at The Hilton Resort & Spa on their way back to the States after holiday around Asia. It was a joy to spend time with them and they have a wonderful style of parenting and are firm and very loving and positive with their son. Their connection is lovely and I have to say I picked up a few hints for using on Kingston, my own little toddler ~ photography by Gina.
